Ted Lasso's Jodi Balfour kisses fiancée Abbi Jacobson's hand in LA
, Ted Lasso star Jodi Balfour and A League of Their Own creator-star Abbi Jacobson rocked their rings during a casual hike in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The South African 36-year-old flaunted her taut tummy in a beige T-shirt and baggy black shorts while the Pennsylvania-born 39-year-old sported a ‘Flowers of Maine’ T-shirt and a black Orassini baseball cap.
At one point, Jodi affectionately planted a kiss on the hand of her fiancée Abbi, who publicly came out as bisexual in a 2018 interview.
Balfour didn’t publicly address her own ‘queerness’ until an Instagram post on June 30.
‘On this last day of Pride month, I’m stepping away from my sense of inadequacy, my fear of taking up room not meant for me, free porn and my need to do this right, to say how undeniably freeingon October 24, 2021; which was their one-year anniversary of dating.
Things are far more uncertain for The Crown alum’s Ted Lasso character – venture capitalist Jack Danvers – who broke up with publicity firm owner Keeley Jones (Juno Temple) after she refused to formally apologize for her masturbation ‘porno’ video leaking online.
‘I would love to see an attempt at resolution. There’s a version of these two people who have a lot to learn from each other,’ Jodi told on May 3.
‘[But] I’m not sure…I don’t have high hopes, though.But you know, are we still debating the future of Ted Lasso? It remains to be seen.’
Balfour – whose boss character might now pull the funding for Keeley’s firm – admitted the last scene she shot with the 33-year-old Emmy nominee was the ‘highlight’ of her four-episode arc even thought it was ‘awful and devastating’ to watch as a fan.
